The Saunity Pod showcases the natural elegance of Finnish Thermowood, renowned for its rich tones, smooth finish, and resistance to the elements. Unlike most pods on the market, Saunity Pod is insulated, ensuring maximum heat retention and energy efficiency while keeping the exterior comfortable to touch. This combination of premium timber and superior insulation elevates both the look and performance of every Pod, creating a lasting and luxurious experience.
Performance & Recovery
The Saunity Pod comes equipped with a 4.5 kW Harvia electric heating system and premium lava stones as standard, delivering deep, consistent warmth that supports both recovery and relaxation. The stones store and release heat efficiently, creating an even, comfortable sauna experience every time. Thanks to the Pod’s insulated 14cm thick dual-cavity wall system, the compact 4.5 kW heater can reach temperatures of up to 90 °C, providing a truly authentic sauna session.

Inside the Saunity Pod, integrated soft and calming LED lighting sets the tone. As daylight fades, the gentle glow creates a warm, cocoon-like atmosphere that makes every evening session feel special. Insulation
The Saunity Pod is engineered for exceptional heat performance, featuring a double-cavity wall system with dedicated insulation panels and a moisture barrier. This advanced construction maximises heat retention, improves energy efficiency, and ensures a stable, comfortable environment session after session.
Materials
The Saunity Pod is built with only the highest-quality materials, chosen for their durability, performance, and timeless style. At its core is the Finnish Thermowood, renowned for its natural beauty, exceptional stability, and resistance to the elements. This sustainably sourced timber forms the foundation of a Pod that is as strong as it is elegant. Every detail is considered, right down to the fixtures. The exterior is fitted with a 316 marine-grade stainless steel light, ensuring lasting performance even in coastal environments, where salt and moisture can quickly wear down lesser materials. These premium components make the Saunity Pod a product that not only looks outstanding but is built to last.
Efficiency
The Saunity Pod is built for outstanding efficiency, thanks to its insulation system. Unlike many pod designs on the market, every Saunity Pod is insulated, allowing it to retain heat exceptionally well. Each Pod comes standard with a compact 4.5 kW Harvia electric heater, yet it is capable of reaching temperatures of up to 90 °C. We’ve made a conscious design choice: our Pods are built to heat the right way, not the fastest way. Some modern saunas focus on blasting hot air quickly, but in doing so they sacrifice what makes a Finnish sauna truly special. In a traditional sauna, it’s the stones that absorb, store, and release the heat, creating a deep, even warmth. We allow around 50 minutes for the sauna to heat ensuring the lava stones reach their optimal temperature, setting the stage for an authentic, restorative, and unforgettable experience.
For those rare occasions when extra heat is desired, the Saunity Pod can be fitted with an upgraded heater. This allows the sauna to reach higher temperatures while still maintaining its signature balance of consistent warmth and energy efficiency.

What's not included
To ensure your Saunity Pod is ready to go, you’ll need to provide:

A strong, level base measuring at least 165 cm x 215 cm, capable of supporting a total weight of 600 kg (plus occupants).

A power supply brought to within 1 metre of the sauna’s final position. We recommend a minimum 32A 2P+E Single Phase IP67 Surface Outlet (200–250V).
Please note: the base and power supply are an additional cost for the customer. Saunity can assist in organising electrical connection through one of our trusted electricians, making the process as smooth as possible.
Saunity provides a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery and installation. The warranty covers defects in materials, craftsmanship, and installation that arise under normal use. Hi, I’m Dan, founder of Saunity.
The idea for Saunity was sparked during my wife’s self-healing journey, when sauna became an important part of her recovery. With my school background in machinery engineering, 20+ years in woodworking, and nearly two decades in manufacturing, I realised I could build something truly special: a sauna pod that’s not only functional, but beautiful, durable, and designed with care. Having lived in Cornwall for the past 20 years, I’ve been increasingly inspired by the global shift towards wellness and intentional living. Saunity was born as a way to combine decades of craftsmanship with this movement, creating Pods that help people unplug, recharge, and reconnect. The name says it all: Sauna + Unity = Saunity, a celebration of the calming power of heat, nature, and human connection. Saunity Pods are built to last, designed to inspire, and crafted to give you a sanctuary of wellbeing that feels truly your own.
